The fruit of date tree, which is tropical climate plant and named as "Fructus dactylus" in Greek language is very healthful for the body. As it is a hot climate plant, the date which is known as “the healing source arriving to us from desert” and which is very rich in vitamin and minerals is a wonderful fruit which has got nutritive features on its own. Such countries as mainly Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Iran and Algeria are the ones which produce the date at most. The date which is often consumed especially during the Holy Ramadan month, can be possible to find in every season, it is advised to be consumed regularly and continiously.

FEATURES

The date tree which is grown so much in Africa and Arabian Peninsula hasn’t got branches. The Tree which grows like a column line as only one trunk is in 30 meter high.  The date which does not patch off consists of protein, sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, sulphur, phosphorus, chlorine        together with B1,B2, A and C vitamins. 

A person is advised to eat 6-7 dates at least every day. 

It supplies blood making very much. As its nutrition value is so much, it is advised for the ones who have got mental and physical exhaustion and who get weak because of the diseases. If it is eaten together with almond, it increases the sperms. It is the only fruit which regulates the sugar level in the body. It supplies the baby in mother’s abdomen to be developed. As its digestion is a little difficult, the ones who have got weak stomach should chew it very much while eating it.

In Buhari and Muslim Authentics, due to the rumor of  Ibn-i Umer, Ibn-i Umer says like that: Once upon a time, we were sitting aside of our holy master prophet, at that time a hub of date was brought and hereupon our holy master prophet said: “ There is a different kind of tree from all trees, its leaves do not drop. That tree resembles to a mature Muslim.

Please tell us what tree you imply is. The persons around him started to count the names of the trees in the field. 

Abdullah Ibn-i Umer says: It occured to me that tree is Date tree, but in spite of the fact that i want to say that tree is date tree i realised i have been at the smallest age of the group involvers i have been in, because of this i got ashamed of speaking and i prefered to hush. Later on, our holy master prophet replied the question himself and said that: That tree is DATE TREE.”
