The love of seed of Turkish press has reached to the sizes tearing the eyes in recent days. When i saw the so-called supplement which Milli Newspaper published with the name of “The voive of farmers: Abundance” yesterday, i had to write these series of articles heat of the heat, actually which i was planning to write in next days because that i was waiting some official datas. It is useful to start the work from the end. First, it is very clear that this supplement was not prepared by Milli Newspaper. On one hand, there are the things which are wanted to be said in the supplement, on the other hand there is the headline of the newspaper as “ Respecting the world is illness!”, which declare the messages in the supplement of the same day to be false….

Appropriate and admirable warnings which Yusuf Ziya Ozcan( who is the president of YOK), made continiously relevant to the seeds in Ankara and Nevsehir at the beginning of the academic year, disturbed some circles very much.

In his explanation, Yok president told, “ It isn’t clear what would happen to the end. They can place a genetic mechanism inside of the tomato which we  buy in the market. We can eat these these tomato without knowing this any and we can be caught to unknown diseases. In this way, one can destroy a nation as a whole. They can place so harmful things in the foods that they can destroy a nation in 20 years.”

As for Mehdi Eker who is Agriculture Minister, with his stolid mien he described the warnings of the president of Yok as “urban legends”.

Afterward, that NTV Channel broadcasted famous documentary named ‘ Food Co Ltd’ continiously, which deserves endless thanks, brought about a serious influence.

In this process, the seed growing companies attacked, they both took aim at the president of Yok and also declared that ‘true and real’ points were not actually ‘true’, which i gave voice in my articles.

Moreover, they gave the name of Yasar Nuri Ozturk and they gave voice to their own disturbance which they felt because of the speeches that he made on this issue.

Okan Bayulgen brought into sharp relief of the problem related to the seed, gdo and food safety during 3-4 weeks in the channel D programme until last week. Okan Bayulgen, who speaks so uneasy (after the first programme) and whose uneasiness reflects to his sentences must have ‘scared the mules of cup makers’ (it is a idiom in Turkish, it means scaring of the people who can not resist to uneasiness and unrest) ; that the programme was removed from the boradcasting stream of channel D suddenly. The email returned to me which i sent to Okan Bayulgen in order to ask the fate of the programme.

In recent days, Seed Growers Association attacked for ‘public relations’ with the support of Agriculture Ministry, which is called as the work of PR. Namely, ‘ Seed Industry’ engaged ‘The Industry of Public Relations.’

Afterward, that news took place in Hurriyet Newspaper as follow: “ The Sub-Union of Seed Growers and Industrialists (TSUAB) starts to legal fight against the people who speak in contrast to Gdo, scientific datas(!) on seeds and give harm to the sector. The Union initially started to make Works in order to prosecute Okan Bayulgen because of his words related to the seeds whose genes are modified.”

The chairman of TSUAB Ilhami Aygun told, “ Turkish Seed Industry has reached a point which can be taken proud of, we do not allow anybody to fret it. They pretend to show us as mafia and arms dealer. It is enough, we will hit our fist on the table very strongly.” ( Indeed, this attitude is not anything apart from acting with anger and igniting the fuse of a war which they would take a beating.)

Afterward, last week Sabah newspaper, yesterday Milli Newspaper published the supplement for seeds. Also, primarily Zaman Newspaper and many other newspapers started to publish the laudatory news for the seed growers repeatedly.

This issue has got many dimensions. So, it will require to write some articles. When we review the supplement of Milli newspaper, it is not difficult to understand That Milli newspaper did not prepare this supplement. It is identical with the the supplement of Sabah Newspaper.

In the cover of the supplement, it is available a green meadow and a Picture of two cows whose breasts are almost to be exploded. Insidious PR starts at the headline of the cover. It is shown as if the animals pasture on the grass and we dont know this.

Again, it is available also the message of a seed grower and the explanation of Mehdi Eker on Import in the cover.  In the following part of the explanation, it is available the advertisements and articles of the growers and sellers of meat, milk, seed and fertilizer. There is not even one-line dissident word. Indeed, being well-intentioned journalist requires the narration of different opinions together.

The editor, who writes entrance article in this ordered supplement, explains their aims as follow:

“ We asked the owner of the sector to learn the answers of the question Marks in the minds varying from the seed reality of Turkey, the rumours that it makes dependance to Israel and EU countries, to the claims of Gdo and hybrid seeds.”

In addition to its one- sided publication, the realities relevant to Gdo and seeds are so-called scorned with the word of  ‘rumour.’”

When i saw the articles in the supplement which were written to clear the sterile hybrid seeds and gdo which are known as Israel seeds, the things which Erbakan Hodja said in the interview in Haberturk channel explaining the Sionist intentions a few days ago and his interview which was published together with the book of ‘ Secret World State’ one day later, occured to me and i mused to sad thoughts.

Did Hodja see this supplement? Or was this supplement serviced with the thought that hodja could not read the supplement because of his illness? Of course, this mistake depends on the newspaper and they give an account for this in the sight of God.

Just because they did so, the realities can not be covered up. But, it is clear that they took invalid note from the exam of sincerity.

The friends in Milli newspaper may find our expressions as harsh. But, the justice entails that, however harsh articles we write about the trouble of “ Green Revolution” which David Rockefeller started in 1940’s, that saying twice as much than this for Milli newspaper is the debt of our faith and conscious.

More real it is to claim that the genes of hybrid seeds are not played on; more real it is to believe that the newspapers such as Milli newspaper, Sabah and Zaman newspapers wrote.

More it is possible to say that the seeds of Turkey are local, more sincere these supplements and news are.  

See the coincidence that two publishment organs such as Zaman and Milli newspaper, which is available a huge frequency difference between them, can unite in the matter of defending the seed growers.  

Some publishment organs like Sabah, may not have another option except for defending the agriculture policies of Turkey, we can understand this. It is also possible to understand that Zaman newspaper is the dauntless defensive of wrong agricultural policies of Turkey. Moreover, we can understand the publishments of Dogan Group, which are 2 steps reverse, 1 step forward. If Milli newspaper changed the points, one must be fool not to understand this.

We will continue to give voice in the following articles with the documents on what points Milli newspaper made the mistake, which is one of the publishment organs not to object to the things which we would say about the “Green Revolution”, which famous Sionist David Rockefeller carry out, who is at the top of the ‘underground organizations’ named CFR, Bilderberg, Trilateral; also we will give voice to the lies and truths of Turkey related to the seed growing with the documents.

1-       1-  With “Turkey-Usa Agreement”, which was made between USA and Turkey as the part of ‘ Marshall Aid’ in the period of the Ministry of Recep Peker from CHP on 12 July 1947, Turkey transferred agricultural independence and agriculture policies to USA. In this context, initially 3 million olive trees were cut in Aegean Region.

In the context of this agreement in 1950, 30 tractors are brought from USA. Minister Menderes instructed that the tractors should be sent to Cukurova Region in order for that they could be used in cotton agriculture. But, this application means the breach of the contract, which is understood to have been signed without reading. Therefore, Ankara Ambassador of USA sends warning letter to Usa Foreign Affairs. As for USA government, it delivers a strict note to Turkey. Upon this, the tractors can not be used in cotton agriculture.

One of the stipulations of the “Agreement of Marshall Aid” which is made with 16 countries involved Turkey, is that it brings obligation for Turkey to purchase margarine and corn oil from USA, although Turkey is a paradise of olive oil. That’s why, it is made Turkish people to lose his desire to olive oil, it is invented vile lies “that olive oil cause cancer” and the trees are cut.

These are not enough for them, like as the Works of public relations which are made today, a song is ordered named “I can not use olive oil, i can not wear cotton- prints,” this is made the most popular song of the country. The public who is convicted to solid oil- margarine, becomes dependant to even one spoonful olive oil in 20-30 years. The women who wear cotton prints, are introduced with plastic clothes.

These are only two of numberless agreements, which Turkey signed with USA, neither Agriculture minister, seed growers nor such kind of publishments have the power to understand and prevent these realities.

2-      2-  Please remember that we published 3-5 months ago the threat confession which are made to Turkey upon Husnu Yusuf Gokalp who is former Agriculture Minister.

Former Minister said: “ Seed is an important issue. We stil import most of the vegetable seeds unfortunately. When we made a work referring to the seed in our working period, we could not receive support even from Devlet Bahceli. If we received the support, we would bring that laws to Council of Ministers. Robert Pearson, who is Ankara USA  Ambassador of that period, wrote letters to us consisting the following statements as “ How can you make your own seed work? Why don’t you purchase wheat from USA?” because of the work which we made in that period. I torn up those letters and threw them. But, all of them are registered in the records of the Ministry. “

3-      3- In the document, which is one of the documents that Wikileaks continue to disclose, dated 8 June 2005, numbered ‘05ANKARA3199’, it is said something regarding former Agriculture Minister, Sami Guclu as follow: “ He causes an obstacle in the issue of making progress concerning to USA.” I don’t know what you think about, but i draw a deduction from it concerning that Sami Guclu resisted against USA interests, instead of him someone else was brought, who is more passive.

That the laws relevant to seed and Gdo was enacted hurriedly in the period of next Minister, also that any good intentioned criticism was not taken into consideration and that persistently continuing to the wrongs are very meaningful.

Similarly, after half a century, like as that we give voice to the insidious real of Marshall Aid today, all the bare facts related to agriculture will emerge soon. But, that time, it will be too late.

While mentioning Wikileaks, let us touch upon the document which was disclosed in previous day, due to the news of Guardian, “ American diplomats desired European people to be punished, as they resisted to the Gdo seeds.”

The forces which mask out USA and punish EU, would not let Turkey alone on this issue.

Hey Milli newspaper, by the means of agriculture policies which you pursue, it is not far for the people of this country to live the situation which Indians experience today and live the blaim by saying the anonymous crying like as  “Give me bread, it can be burned or stale bread, it does not matter. Because it blows the fire in my stomach, take it from me in return of what you wish! I can deliver the freedom of my country for bread. I can start to the day just with 2 slices of breads before the sunshine. I slightly worry about the love, grief, thought. I can deliver all of them for bread.” Let us dedicate this anonymous word of Indians in misery to the ones who worked for the preparation the supplement of  ‘unproductiveness.’
